So here’s an interesting Bible would you rather.
I’d choose the wisdom of Solomon? You may ask why? Well, it tells us in the Bible to choose wisdom.
“At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.” Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings.
1 Kings 3:5,8-13 (NIV)
God gave wisdom to Ezra
And you, Ezra, in accordance with the wisdom of your God, which you possess, appoint magistrates and judges to administer justice to all the people of Trans-Euphrates—all who know the laws of your God. And you are to teach any who do not know them.”
Ezra 7:25 (NIV)
Proverbs also speaks of wisdom
“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 2:6 (NIV)
“for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.”
Proverbs 8:11 (NIV)
The New Testament also mentions wisdom.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
James 1:5 (NIV); James 3:17 (NIV)
I believe that if you are wise, you won’t need strength. Your strength comes from within and if you ask, God will bless you with wisdom. Refer to these verses and pray for wisdom.
