I think the children of Israel must have been lonely. They left behind the only home had known and were heading towards a land they had never seen. Being lead by a guy that used to be a part of Pharaoh’s family. I’m sure some of them didn’t trust him. I’m not so sure I would.
God was watching over them. He would tell them when to move and when to stop. They trusted God that he would get them where they needed to go.
If you are lonely, you may have feeling of being lost yourself. Your home doesn’t feel like home and you don’t know which way to turn. Remember the cloud by day and the fire by night. God is waiting and watching. He will direct you.
